Al Gore says droughts, storms, and floods are due to global warming. Perhaps he should take a look at what happened in 1929.
The following account is from the Lockhart Review and Oaklands Advertiser:
In fact, by the time this article was written, the drought in Britain had already ended, with four months of the most extreme rainfall seen in the country since 1910 beginning in October.
Met Office data shows that rainfall between January and September was far below any other year on record:
Then the heavens opened.
Of course, in those days it was just weather!
