Limbaugh’s Al Gore Armageddon Clock About To Hit Zero After Ten Years

gore countdown clockFormer Vice President Al Gore made a prediction for the earth’s point of no return 10 years ago and talk radio host Rush Limbaugh held him to it since that day in 2006.

The countdown clock on Limbaugh’s site has been running for nearly 10 years since Gore’s apocalyptic prediction about the earth as a result of greenhouse emissions. Less than a month remains in the countdown.

Gore predicted, when his film “An Inconvenient Truth” was first released at the Sundance Film Festival, that the earth would be in “a true planetary emergency” within the next ten years unless drastic action was taken to reduce greenhouse gases.

CBS News reported at the time that Gore’s film predicted the worst-case scenarios would be a new ice age in Europe, massive floods in China, India, and other areas. Gore described himself as a “recovering politician” to the Sundance audience at the time and that he “benefits from low expectations.”

“What really attracted us to this presentation is the tone Al strikes,” said “An Inconvenient Truth” director Davis Guggenheim to CBS. “It’s not righteous. It doesn’t have a political agenda. It lands right in the middle, and Al just lays out what is this inconvenient truth. And I think that’s why the audience is willing to receive it.”

Limbaugh laughed at Gore’s 10 year prediction in 2006 saying on his radio show, “Now, the last time I heard some liberal talk about ‘ten years’ it was 1988, Ted Danson. We had ten years to save the oceans; we were all going to pay the consequences, which would result in our death. Now Al Gore says we’ve got ten years. Ten years left to save the planet from a scorching.”

He added, “Okay, we’re going to start counting. This is January 27th, 2006. We will begin the count, ladies and gentlemen. This is just… You have to love these people — from afar, and from a purely observational point of view.”

Attempting to get the political action they want climate alarmist are always making dire predictions. Gore’s apocalyptic prediction hasn’t come true, nor has the prediction that there would be a 100 million climate refugees by 2010, or that the artic would be ice free in the summer by 2014.

However, even from the view point of people who very wrong, there can be some truth. As far as reducing carbon emissions we are beyond the point of no return. John Kerry was right when he said that even if the United States and Europe reduced our emissions to zero, with the increase in the developing nations the emissions would continue to raise.

Fortunately carbon dioxide emissions are not a problem. If they were, we would be in sad shape.

Al Gores scientific credentials are what ? He is more qualified as a preacher and the British courts found over 20 inaccuracies in his science fiction movie .
A” planetary emergence ” and an ice free Arctic both complete bull shit to manipulate people . What ever happened to his business investment (carbon trading ) Chicago Climate Exchange ? Did he dump it on to some dumb ass before it tanked ? Funny it just seemed to disappear when the USA government didn’t back carbon trading

Enron whipped up marking schemes and we all know how those ended .

What a fantastic game ..know the lottery numbers before they are drawn . No conflict of interest just a desire to save the planet . Kind of like shorting a stock when you know for sure it is going to tank .

Why are hedge fund billionaires contributing massive funds to the USA election candidates ? Democracy ? Really ?

Isn’t it time we had a CO2 Day to celebrate the plant food essential to life on our Happy Planet . Joggers could run a bit extra and those heavy breathing fear mongers could take a day off .
The flip side is all the money being directed to the scary climate industry would take a hair cut . Who knows ,2016 could be the beginning of a whole new global cooling campaign, after all every product has a life cycle just like the promoters .

It was amusing in 2015 to see the Sierra Club squirm in the Senate as Cruz turned them into a puppet show .

The real inconvenient truth about the claim that 2015 was the hottest year ever is it is based on NOAA’s manipulated data set. They ignored the very accurate satellite data which does not support the idea. They even ignored ground based sensors in stable regions. They primarily used sensors in areas where there has been new develop and that will cause these sensors to read higher.

The real inconvenient truth is that 40% of the warming blamed on man occurred between 1910 and 1941 before a significant build up of green house gasses. This, together with medieval and roman warming periods clearly show that there are drivers impacting the Earth’s temperature more than green house gasses. The Earth is getting warmer, but don’t blame mankind.

Another inconvenient truth is that the UN climate models that this entire crisis is built on are still running hotter in their predictions than even the NOAA data set.

The nothing that wants to be a something will go to any lengths necessary to become something , however pathetically.

Tragic, but hilarious when they accuse their opposition of the wrong doing and fundamental illogic that they are guilty of.

This is the basic strategy of the democrat party in the USA.
